The Karlin Valley Railway is a coal, logging narrow gauge short line set in the early 1950's. There is over 600' of track in service with more being added. It features geared locomotives, long trestles, and many bridges. There is a classification yard and related engine service buildings under construction at this time.

From Newark take route 273 into Maryland to route 272 the second red light in Maryland. Turn left on 272 and go about 2 miles to England Creamery Road. Turn right on England Creamery Road and go 2 blocks to Porter Road. Turn left on Porter Road to the third house on the right.

From I-95 Take Exit 100 to Route 272 north. Go about 2 1/2 miles to England Creamery Road. Turn Left on England Creamery Road. Go 2 blocks to Porter Road. Turn Left on Porter Road to the third house on the right.

Keith's open house is running in conjunction with the Windy Hills Civic Association's annual Luminary Night celebration.

The Three Cedars Railroad winds under a grove of cedar trees, across a bridge and trestle, under a bridge, and across garden ponds. There is a scratchbuilt sawmill with sound. Keith has recently begun a conversion to 7/8 inch scale, which represents a two-foot-gauge industrial railroad. The CSX mainline runs next to the Three Cedars RR, so maybe you can see a very large scale train as well!

From Newark: Take Rt 2 (Capitol Trail) east.  Turn right at South Dillwyn Road (Windy Hills).  House is a half mile on right.

From Wilmington:Take Rt. 2 (Capitol Trail) west. Turn left at traffic light onto Anna Way. Turn left on Hawthorne.  Turn left on Adelene. Turn right on South Dillwyn. House is 4/10 mile on right.
